For over 20 years, La Esperanza has been transforming the lives of Latino women who have cancer and other chronic diseases by creating a supportive environment and offering language and culturally specific educational and training programs that foster healing, learning and personal growth. Leadership development, support to family and friends, home and hospital visits, access and advocacy to medical and ancillary care are part of our holistic approach. Recognizing the need for similar programs in other ethnic communities, La Esperanza provides outreach education to community groups and trains leaders to establish their own groups.
